Isolated disciplines


They are enrollments, allowed to any person not belonging to the UFMG student body, in isolated disciplines that are part of the curricula of undergraduate and graduate courses, to complement or update knowledge.

Application protocol for enrollment in isolated disciplines – 1st semester of 2024

Requirements: existence of a vacancy and not being a student of undergraduate or graduate courses at UFMG.

Application date: from 8:30 am on February 26th (Monday)  to 3pm on March 1st (Friday) – via Google form (portuguese only)

Result release: March 5th, Tuesday – here on the website, on this page

Enrollment: until March 8th, Friday – conditional on payment and presentation of the GRU.

Date for delivery of proof of payment of the GRU: until 12 noon on March 8th.

Beginning of classes: from March 11th (live classes – by attendance in classroom)

 

Application procedures:

1. Complete the Enrollment in Isolated Activity’s Form (Requerimento de Matrícula em Atividade Isolada) available in the “Forms” menu on the PPGEQ website (also available on the DRCA website).

Note: You can include more than one discipline in the same form (check the list of isolated disciplines – portuguese only).

2. Attach to the Google form (portuguese only), 8:30 am on February 26th (Monday)  to 3pm on March 1st (Friday), the following documents, IN SCANED, LEGIBLE PDF AND IN A SINGLE FILE (JOIN ALL DOCUMENTS IN ONE FILE):

– Enrollment in Isolated Activity’s Form completed and signed;

– Proof of prerequisites or conditions to attend the discipline:

a) Lattes/CNPq curriculum, accompanied by a copy of titles and diplomas you have;
b) School transcript or equivalent document;
c) Copy of identity and CPF;
d) Copy of passport with valid temporary student or permanent visa, if foreign;
e) Copy of the last paycheck and authorization from the head of department, in the case of a UFMG civil server.

Observation 1: Incomplete documentation will not be accepted.

Observation 2: Students at the end of their undergraduate course at private universities may apply for vacancies, provided that they present, in place of the diploma, a declaration containing the expected date of completion of the course / graduation.

UFMG and PPGEQ will not be responsible for application not received for reasons of technical nature associated with computers, communication failures, lines of communication, postal services, and for any other technical reasons that make it impossible to transfer data for application consolidation.

Enrollment information:

Before paying the enrollment fee, check that your application has been accepted. Students linked to UFMG courses (Undergraduate and Graduate) will not be able to apply for enrollment in an isolated discipline. Under no circumstances the enrollment fee will be refunded.

The applicant who obtains approval will receive only 01 (one) enrollment number and will pay only one fee, for any number of disciplines, regardless of whether they are disciplines of different levels (undergraduate and graduate). Payment must be made at Banco do Brasil, through GRU.

The GRU form must be filled out with the following information:

CPF/CNPJ enter the CPF number of those who will take the isolated discipline
Nome do Contribuinte/Recolhedor name of the person taking the isolated discipline
Competência: month of enrollment / year of course offer
Vencimento: date to make the payment
Valor Principal: individual discipline fee amount R$ 194,57
Valor Total: repeat the value of the isolated discipline fee R$ 194,57

The fee is 194.57 (one hundred and ninety-four reais and fifty-seven cents).

After the payment, the candidate with the approved application must send a scanned copy of the GRU accompanied by the payment receipt to the email pos-grad@deq.ufmg.br or ppgeq1@gmail.com until 12pm on March 8th. If you do not make the payment, your enrollment will not be made. Please inform the candidate’s name on the receipt and if there was an approved application for other discipline in other UFMG Programs (inform the name of the discipline and Program).

UFMG civil servants who presented, at the time of application, a copy of the last paycheck and authorization from the immediate head of department, will be entitled to an exemption from the fee.

Foreign candidate:

If you are a foreigner, you must send the documentation described below to pos-grad@deq.ufmg.br or ppgeq1@gmail.com to register with the DRCA (in pdf): passport with temporary or permanent student visa, identity card issued by the Federal Police and proof that the visa status is regularized and CPF.

CERTIFICATE

The certificate of completion of the discipline may be requested from the PPGEQ’s Office, after the end of the academic term and the release of grades by the professor.
